Rachel Hill
Project Director and Lead Recruiter

Rachel’s journey in HR and as a recruitment improvement and HR tech pioneer began over 25 years ago, working in corporate positions in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, running large in-house HR and recruitment functions. She has held senior roles within HR teams and has worked across the globe, and across many different industries, giving her extensive knowledge of human resources, recruitment best practice and the human condition.

She is now a recruitment solutions expert, media commentator and popular keynote speaker and corporate trainer on HR tech. Now working as Project Director and Principal Consultant at Hill Consulting HRS Australia. Responsible for HR process improvement and efficiencies, cost reduction, HR tech and automation and solution design and implementation. She is also the author of numerous blogs and articles on candidate experience, HR best practice, recruitment improvements and new HR technologies.

She advises corporate Australia on how to transform their recruitment and HR functions in the 21st century by reviewing their current process efficiencies, their people, policy, practices and use of HR technology. Her work allows HR departments to shine and deliver on strategic initiatives by obtaining true insights that allow for better business outcomes and improved return on investment for every HR dollar spent.

Rachel Hill was asked to MC the Employee Experience conference in Sydney last year where she was chair of the two-day national conference on leading edge HR practices in Australia.

This year she has been asked to be a National Judge on a panel of three for ITA’s Awards (Internal Talent Awards) for the recruitment industry looking at innovation and tech.

Rachel consults to leading organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

She is also founder and Director of HRtechmarket.com, a global website with over 2,700 HR tech products listed, and undertakes weekly product reviews with vendors.

Tom Pritchard
Lead Data and Analysis Reporting

Tom has 25 years experience in data and analytics across a broad range of industries including recruitment, information technology, supply chain and tourism. Currently focused on recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems, he has worked for Hudson and Alexander Mann Solutions in Australia. Prior to moving to Australia, he managed IT logistics solutions teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

As Global Head of Systems and Reporting for Hudson RPO Tom helped Hudson design an internal CRM, ATS and data warehouse suite of systems on the Salesforce platform, as well as working with clients such as Macquarie, Energy Australia and Medibank.

Most recently he has assisted various projects at Coles, Treasury Wine Estates, BHP Billiton, Ventia, ANZ Bank, Rabobank, Australia Post, NCML, RMIT, Newcrest and Bupa.

When not analysing data Tom like nothing more than to be out on his fishing kayak, chasing snapper or hiking around Wilson's Prom.

Tamara Di Veroli
Lead Recruiter

Tamara is a recruitment and talent leader with over 15 years experience in talent acquisition, talent management, process and systems improvement, leadership and redeployment management. Tamara has worked across numerous industries including infrastructure, construction, services, engineering, telecommunications, information technology, early learning and education, many of which have been in large and complex businesses.

Tamara is a people leader and has managed both small and large national TA teams with a strong focus on mentoring. She really understands how to get the best out of people. Tamara’s experience includes strategic sourcing, branding/EVP, ATS implementation, bulk and graduate recruitment, rapid mobilisation projects, workforce planning, executive search & selection, talent mapping, succession planning, internal mobility and redeployment. She has successfully implemented several HR systems and is passionate about process improvement and is an active member of several industry collaborations and networking groups.

When she is not working on talent solutions, Tamara can be found with her 4-year-old son Oscar and hubby enjoying the outdoors and traveling.

Rachit Setia
Junior Recruiter and Project Administrator

Rachit is an experienced HR professional and project administrator.

He is a highly personable individual with proven time-management skills developed from the past employments while studying and undertaking internships and volunteer placements. Recently working at UTAS in student services with undergraduates, he understands the graduate marketplace well. He has previous HR professional experience coupled with a keen graduate understanding and significant practical experience. Rachit is a highly articulate recruiter and able to work confidently with diverse range of people, cultures and situations in which cultural awareness and appreciation are integral.

His HR experience includes recruitment, training, tutoring and special HR tech projects. Rachit completed his Master of Business Administration (Human Resources) at UTAS, Hobart in 2019.

Millie Flynn
Recruitment Administration

Millie is currently an undergraduate student at UTAS, completing a Bachelor of Business (majoring in marketing and accounting) and working for Hill Consulting on a part-time basis. She will be moving into a double-degree next year, completing her Bachelor with environmental and wilderness studies. She has a keen interest in both HR and environmental management.

Before joining Hill Consulting and moving to Tasmania, Millie graduated from college with subjects including maths, biology, health and human development, English, studio arts and business management.

Ellie Hogben
Lead Search Specialist

Ellie is a recruitment and talent specialist who is experienced in talent acquisition, strategic sourcing, learning and development, and systems implementation and analysis in both internal and RPO functions across Australia and New Zealand.

Most recently working as Search and Sourcing Consultant for Korn Ferry RPO.

With experience in the banking and finance, telecommunications, mining, infrastructure, construction, facilities management, healthcare and transport industries, Ellie has managed graduate recruitment, high-volume recruitment, large-scale project mobilisations, ATS and LMS implementations, systems training, internal recruitment, and supported large scale restructures and redeployment.

Ellie is passionate about all things talent acquisition, but above all else - and the reason she found herself in the realm of talent acquisition in the first place - is about ensuring that all candidates and hiring managers have the best possible experience and support when it comes to engagement and onboarding.

With strong HRIS technical skills, Ellie also often works in the systems analyst and systems administration space for HR and TA systems for clients across various HR platforms, in particular LMS and ATS platforms.

When not recruiting, you will find Ellie enjoying delicious Italian food and drink, taking in the sunshine and practicing her spoken Italian.

Andrew has almost 30 years experience of recruitment and talent marketing, working with iconic, global and Australian brands including Coca Cola, BHP Billiton, Macquarie Bank and Holden (Vauxhall) as a recruitment advertising agency owner and consultant.

With a wealth of experience in both recruitment and brand, Andrew joined Hill Consulting as Talent Marketing and Recruitment Process Lead. He is responsible for bringing our clients' EVPs to life and managing effective internal and external communication with stakeholders. From EVP discovery to employer brand implementation, he brings commercial acumen, pragmatism, and analytical insight, helping clients to adopt solutions that work and add tangible value in the real world.

He is also co-founder of HRtechmarket.com, a global website and channel for HR technology innovators to connect with HR stakeholders seeking best of breed HR technology solutions. As such, he is well qualified to advise on how technology can support and enhance a wide variety of HR and TA functions to create increased organisational performance from talent acquisition to workforce planning and optimisation.

When not helping clients with employment brand or TA strategy, Andrew can be found running around after his two teenage kids, or in the water ocean rowing, stand-up paddle boarding or kayaking.
